Students are overseen by a Registered Clinical Supervisor who is accredited to supervise. Supervision may include case consultation and direct observation.
- Appointments are currently free of charge for a limited time; cancellation fees may apply.
- Book your appointment at our Online Booking Site (Open to BridgePoint alumni participants only)
What are Single Session or One-At-A-Time (OAAT) Counselling Sessions?
- Single-session or One-at-a-Time counselling services allow you to access support when needed, as needed. Sessions are designed to address your top-of-mind concerns. One session can be helpful, and you can book further sessions as needed.
What happens before my counselling appointment?
- After you book your session, you will be required to fill out the intake form, and ensure you fill out the pre-session form that is emailed to you 12 hours before the session. The pre-session form will be used to guide your upcoming counselling session.
What happens during my counselling appointment?
- In the hour that we have, we work together to explore disordered eating. Your primary concern, preferences, and expectations guide the session. The session will provide space to explore what you are experiencing more fully, gain new perspectives, and collaboratively generate solutions.
What happens after my counselling appointment?
- Take some time to reflect on the session and experiment with the perspectives, strategies, or next steps discussed. If you desire another session, you’re welcome to book again or you may choose to explore other options we have available.
